🎯 Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced, self-starting People & Talent Generalist to lead all recruiting and people operations for our 30-person game studio.
You’ll own the full recruiting pipeline, from sourcing to onboarding, while establishing lightweight HR processes that scale as the company grows.
The ideal candidate has successfully run recruiting for multiple roles at once in a startup or creative environment, thrives with autonomy, and enjoys balancing hands-on execution with strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting across disciplines (engineering, design, art, production).
- Develop an understanding of the Roblox platform, ecosystem, and creator community to effectively assess candidate relevance and communicate our studio’s mission.
- Build and execute sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, InGameJob, ArtStation, and other platforms
- Conduct screening calls, manage candidate flow, and maintain an exceptional candidate experience.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, write job descriptions, and calibrate quality standards.
- Maintain and optimize the ATS and recruiting analytics.
- Build talent pipelines for future needs and cultivate long-term candidate relationships.
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, employment records, and HR compliance
- Act as the liaison between leadership and EOR vendors(when used) for global employment, contracts, and payroll.
- Develop and maintain clear HR documentation (policies, handbooks, templates).
- Coordinate periodic culture or engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Ensure smooth execution of internal processes: promotions, performance/salary reviews, etc.
- Recommend HR tools or automation to improve efficiency, and stay up to date with industry trends
- Other HR or Recruitment related responsibilities as required

RequirementsMust Have:
- 5+ years total experience across recruiting and people operations, with at least 3 years directly running full-cycle recruiting in a small-to-mid-sized startup.
- Proven ability to independently fill multiple roles per month and manage 5–10 concurrent openings across varied roles.
- Willingness to learn the fundamentals of the Roblox platform, player community, and game development process to better understand hiring needs and studio culture.
- Strong familiarity with remote and international hiring (EORs, contractors, global compliance).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; confident working directly with CEO and leadership.
- Systems-oriented mindset: experienced with ATS platforms and HR tools.
- Highly organized and execution-driven; comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end.
- High emotional intelligence and discretion handling sensitive personnel information.
Nice to Have:
- Background in gaming, creative tech, or high-growth digital startups.
- Experience building HR processes from scratch (handbooks, onboarding templates, review systems).
- Basic understanding of employment law in the US or EU.
- Interest in scaling with the company into Head of People or Recruiting Lead.
