Senior Recruiter

Speedway Games is an independent game studio focused exclusively on Roblox. Our games have generated 3.6b+ lifetime visits and reach 27m+ monthly active users. We are a fully remote team of 30+ full-time contributors, with a strong talent base in Eastern Europe.

We are looking for a Senior Recruiter to own hiring across the studio. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who can independently manage recruitment end-to-end, fill a wide range of vacancies, and proactively build pipelines through direct sourcing, outreach, and market research.

This role is best suited to someone who enjoys outbound recruiting and is comfortable personally sourcing candidates for most searches.

Responsibilities


  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle, from intake and job description creation through sourcing, screening, interview process management, offer stage, and closing

  • Independently fill vacancies across multiple functions, including art, engineering, design, product, QA, operations, and management

  • Hire across different seniority levels, from junior and mid-level contributors to senior and leadership roles

  • Proactively source and engage candidates primarily across Eastern Europe, while also exploring other relevant markets when needed

  • Take a direct, hands-on approach to building candidate pipelines for recurring, niche, and hard-to-fill roles

  • Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to define role requirements, calibrate candidate quality, and improve hiring decisions

  • Drive efficient, high-quality hiring processes with a strong candidate experience

  • Use a wide range of sourcing methods, including LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, online communities, job boards, talent databases, and other manual search methods

  • Identify and approach strong passive candidates rather than relying mainly on active applicants

  • Contribute to improving recruiting workflows, hiring standards, and employer branding materials over time


Requirements


  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with significant experience recruiting for the game industry

  • Proven success independently hiring across multiple functions, including art, design, engineering, product/production, QA, and operations

  • Experience recruiting for creative and portfolio-based roles, with the ability to assess candidate quality at an initial screening level and partner effectively with hiring managers on portfolio review

  • Strong understanding of the Eastern European talent market and experience sourcing and hiring in the region

  • Experience working closely with founders, leadership, or senior hiring managers on role definition, calibration, and hiring decisions

  • Strong hands-on sourcing ability and proven success identifying, approaching, and engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn, communities, referrals, databases, and direct outreach

  • Comfort operating in an environment where high-quality hiring often requires manual search, market mapping, and proactive outreach

  • Ability to manage multiple active vacancies simultaneously while maintaining speed, organization, and candidate quality

  • Excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills

  • Upper-intermediate English or above


Nice to Have


  • Experience as the primary or sole recruiter in a startup or small-to-mid-sized game studio

  • Experience hiring for Roblox, live-service, UGC, or online multiplayer products

  • Experience improving recruiting processes, interview structure, and hiring workflows in a growing company

  • Familiarity with remote-first international teams
