Programmer(Lua)

Speedway Games is an independent studio developing and publishing cross-platform games on the Roblox platform, we have over 2.2 billion visits to our games and more than 2 million daily players. Our flagship game is Vehicle Legends, a top racing game on the platform for the last 4+ years.

Responsibilities:

• Write performant, solid code


• Develop/improve game features with intuitive and responsive UX, tackle bugs


• Thoroughly test, ensuring your code has minimal bugs


• Discover performance problems using the microprofiler and developer console, and fix them


• Create basic UI

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience writing Lua code for Roblox games and using Roblox Studio


• Experience with UI/UX


• Experience with Knit or other frameworks


• Experience optimizing code & with the microprofiler


• Must be 18+ and willing to sign a contract


• No other major commitments(such as school) that will impede you from working 40 hours per week
