Community Manager

Speedway Games is a fast growing independent studio developing and publishing cross-platform games on the Roblox platform, we have over 2 billion visits to our games and more than 2 million daily players. Our flagship game is Vehicle Legends, a top racing game on the platform for the last 3+ years.

We are looking to add a community manager to our team contributing to all of our games. You will help develop and implement strategies that foster a two-way conversation between players and development and own and improve KPI’s including sentiment & engagement that connect to product success.

You will understand the holistic and dynamic landscape of community forums, social media channels, emerging platforms, and audiences within those channels that deliver business results.


  • Be the voice of the community for our development team sharing insights and trends that are meaningful to product success.

  • Partner with product teams to optimize/improve player sentiment and retention

  • Establish and Manage the content creator program: Formulate an effective strategy, Select content creators and establish relationships with them, distribute benefits and help them to succeed with making content for our games, listen to their feedback, and more

  • Communicate to players: Showcase teasers, announce new updates, and more

  • Hire and manage community moderators

  • Execute engaging community driven marketing programs, campaigns, and events

  • Other responsibilities related to your role as they pop up


  • 3+ years of experience in a community management role within the games industry

  • Experience building communities in discord

  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs

  • Independent creation and successful execution of community-focused marketing campaigns with one or more specific business goals (growth, engagement, retention, reactivation, revenue)

  • Experience in moderating community discussions with large active communities, including creation of style guides, tone, response strategies

  • Interest in video games culture and gaming communities

  • An interest in cars

  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversite

  • Effective time management and project management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills(at least C1)

Good to have:

  • Graphic design experience

  • Experience managing a Discord community for a driving/racing game

  • Social media management experience: Twitter, TikTok, etc.
